Autodesk inventor view 2018 32 bit free

Trying to find the download for Inventor View x All I can find is x Has the x32 support been dropped for ? I sure hope not. Go to Solution. Solved by Mark. As far as I know There's no 32bit support anymore for Inventor View since Vault and Inventor are only supported under the 64B version.

Mark Lancaster. Did this resolve your issue? Please accept it "As a Solution" so others may benefit from it. That is what I am afraid of. We have moved our Vault database to , but I still have machines that are using Vault Client to access the Vault They are using Vault Client because these are x32 machines.

So guess they are SOL if they need to view a Inventor file. Makes no sense why they would drop the x32 support so soon. So soon? Have you been able to buy a 32 bit computer in the last 10 years? Heck we couldn't even use Inventor viewer on 32 bit computers as it needed so much ram to view anything.. Some of our computers are dated, no doubt, but they still work with the viewer.

When I said "so soon", I meant that as long as we can still use a version of the x32 Vault client to access the Vault database, they should continue to support the x Yes, they have internet access, but I don't see how is that going to help? The files are not uploaded to "the cloud".

Is there a way to use this viewer with local files? Doesn't Vault create dwf's? I don't really see the relation between Vault and Inventor view You must not use Vault.

The Inventor Viewer is used in Vault Client to view the files directly in a separate window. We use Inventor view for our non-CAD support team so that they can view our drawings and models on an as-needed basis. When they cant view them, they will be calling me wanting a PDF of it. Yes, you "can" create DWf's. We do not create them because it takes too long to create them during check-in of the Inventor files and they eat up too much HD space. Ok, that explains your "requirement" for me.

Guess the people affected will bug you now then Parting comments I just think that AD jumped the gun on dropping the x32 support for Inventor View. I say that because since the Vault client is now forward compatible with the Vault server, I can have x32 workstations running Vault client.

My case in point is our server is now Vault and some of the older workstations are Vault x It just seems to me that AD did not consider what it would effect when the decision was made to drop the x32 support for Inventor View. Inventor Forum.
